Kingston & Richmond Safeguarding Children Boards are hosting a conference for all churches and faith group leaders. All play a vital role in the lives of many children, young people and adults. Responding effectively when someone comes forward to share concerns or disclose abuse is key to all safeguarding.

Church and Faith Group Leaders; Children’s Services Social Workers and Managers; Early Years & Early Intervention practitioners ; Independent Reviewing Officers; Substance Misuse Services; CSE Services, Education & Academics; Commissioners of Children’s Services; Youth Services; Probation & Criminal Justice, all Health Professionals including, Child Mental Health; Adult Mental Health, Perinatal Mental Health; Accident and Emergency Department; Health Visitors, School Nurses,  Voluntary Sector, Foster Carers.

  • To share safeguarding updates nationally from the NSPCC & local learning form both boroughers .
  • To develop greater links between the children's board and colleagues in our faith communities in order that both can better support each other on safeguarding priorities and developments within Boroughs.
